“I believe God made me for a purpose, but he also made me fast.” –Eric Liddell

Sometimes people of faith, believers, Christians, get so caught up in doing something for God, or for the Kingdom, that we push our talents aside. We discount them. We say “well this is just for God, it doesn’t matter if anyone else likes it.”

But God gave you that talent.

He made you fast.

He made you creative.

He made you organized.

He made you flexible.

He made you musical.

He made you analytical.

He made you artistic.

He made you innovative.

He made you analytical.

He made you handy.

He made you intelligent.

He made you charismatic.

He made you a good whatever it is that you are.

And it’s great if others admire you for that talent and what you’ve done with it!

And sure, you can just do it for God. But it’s ok for other people to see it too. And when they see it, they get a chance to see God at work.

Finish this sentence: “God made me for a purpose, and he also made me _____”
