Don’t worry, I’d never heard of Torshavn or the Faroe Islands before our visit either! The islands are small, located in the North Atlantic (in between the UK to the south, Norway to the east, and Iceland to the northwest), and are under the sovereignty of Denmark.
What about Torshavn? Well, it’s cute, small, and parts of it are old. Like these wooden houses with turf roofs.
No matter how tiny a town is you can always find a café, a coke, and a statue of a man with a hat.
