Cruise down the Geirangerfjord

I mentioned last week how exploring Molde introduced me to the beauty of Norway.  And then we got to Geiranger.  Wow.  My photos will not do it justice.  Again, I had no idea.  So I was very glad that I signed up again for the crew tour, an RIB cruise down the Geirangerfjord. RIB stands for rigid inflatable boat.  So it kind of looks like a raft, but it’s much more durable, and much less wet.  Plus they put us in dry suits that made us look like astronauts so that was cool.

Another popular tour was a ride down the fjord in a Viking boat like this one.  They also made them wear viking hats (you know, the horns and what not).  We made the right choice…
