Thanksgiving = Thursday = FRIENDS

Yesterday was Thanksgiving and of course Thanksgiving means Thursday, and Thursday means some awesome NBC tv… and 8 years ago (wow, really 8 years?) that meant FRIENDS!

If you didn’t love FRIENDS you should probably stop reading my blog.  At least for today.

I love lots of FRIENDS episodes, but some of the best are the Thanksgiving episodes.  Here are some of my favorites:

The One where Ross got High
I can’t decide what the highlight of this episode is for me: is it when Rachel lists off the ingredients in her trifle? “First you do a layer of a lady fingers, then a layer of cream, then another layer of lady fingers, then a layer of beef sauteed with peas and onions…” Or Ross and Monica’s Mom’s reaction to everyone’s ridiculous actions “No Rachel, you were not supposed to put meat in the dessert.  It was not good.”image
The One with All the Thanksgivings
Chandler loses a toe.  We see Ross and Chandler with awesome haircuts and Miami Vice suits, as well as Rachel pre and post nose job. We see Monica act sexy with a box of macaroni and cheese. And then there are not one but two people who put turkeys on their heads.

The One with Chandler in a Box
My favorite episode of FRIENDS ever, so it is clearly one of the best Thanksgiving ones as well.  I mean, seriously.  Chandler is in a box.  Michael Vartan guest stars  Chandler is in a BOX. Monica goes OFF on everyone, in a hilarious and extremely accurate way.  Chandler… is in a box!  Monica gets ice in her eye, and Phoebe suggest that they put some ice on it.  And CHANDLER IS IN A BOX!

  1. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL………….. I’m literally laughing out loud at the thought of these episodes.

    “I wasn’t supposed to put beef and onions in the trifle!”

  2. Krista, I love this roundup of Thanksgiving episodes! My favorites would have to be the Monica turkey head dance one and the Brad Pitt episode.

    Will (Brad Pitt): Look at her holding those yams. Those are my two worst enemies, Ross – Rachel Green and complex carbohydrates.
