Residual effects of working with children, a special Talking with the Guns

The Guns is going to hate me for blogging this.

Eh, it’s not the first time.

I’m in the bathroom washing my face, and The Guns is changing clothes in our room.  And I hear him singing softly:

The Guns: You get the best of both worlds! You can relax and lay low and then rock out at the show!*

Me: pause.  I’m considering why he might be singing this, especially at such a high pitch. Um, is that Hannah Montana?

The Guns: pause.  No.

Me: It totally is.  You were rocking out to Hannah Montana.

The Guns: barely whispering no

Me: pointed look.

The Guns: Well it was “lights, camera, action!” night with the kids. So, yes, at the end we watched some Hannah Montana.

Me: Right.

The Guns: matter of factly Because who’s a bigger star than Hannah Montana?

  1. Hahaha when I taught in the elementary school the students loved when the teachers knew about Hannah Montana. Well, when the movie came out, I convinced my husband to go… We were about the buy our tickets when this huge limo and a flock of reporters showed up. Turned out that Hannah Montana was there to greet all of her movie watchers! We ended up leaving the the little girls around us started shrieking. 🙂
